Accept our invitation to visit the west part of the Ore Mountains. The voluntary association of municipalities in the West Ore Mountains has been working in this area for a long time. The micro-region spreads from the Ohře river valley to the highest peaks of the Ore Mountains and contains a considerable cultural and natural heritage.
Tourism has no borders and that is why the Guide also includes places in the vicinity of the associated municipalities.
The West Ore Mountains are an area with a rich history, architectural landmarks from various periods, small monuments in the countryside, a series of tourist destinations, educational trails, marked trails, water trails, cycling trails as well as ski resorts. It is an area that lies in the vicinity of the Spa Triangle that includes Karlovy Vary, Mariánské Lázně and Františkovy Lázně. The Ore Mountains Mining Region is inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage List.
